Aspire is a permanently placed bronze monument at the Academic and Performing Arts Center at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC. The figures merge and cascade together as if in an upwardly flowing waterfall. An as-built monument model of this composition is permanently placed nearby at The Mint Museum, North Carolina's first art museum. These placements demonstrate the model-to-monument process to guests, students, scholars and visitors to the site, and reveal, in-person, the transformational evolution of sculpture for the public square.
